Professor Ilya Vakser elected fellow of the AAAS

Ilya Vakser was elected a Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Sciences (AAAS). Each year the AAAS Council elects members whose "efforts on behalf of the advancement of science or its applications are scientifically or socially distinguished." The Council elects Fellows deliberately and carefully to preserve the honor attached to this recognition. Ilya was honored for his "distinguished contributions to the field of computational structural biology, particularly for theoretical studies of molecular recognition and methodology development for protein docking."
